Effective from October 29, 2026.
1. Who we are
This document applies to the websites ilmed.co.il, care.ilmed.co.il and tourism.ilmed.co.il, and to the company's services that you order through these websites, by phone, via WhatsApp or by email.
Website owner and data controller: Ilmed (S.L.) ltd., registration number 514441245 (Israel), 2 Even Hen St., Rishon LeZion, Israel ("ILMED", "the Company", "we").
Contact: info@ilmed.co.il, +972 55-467-5650.
This document has two parts. Part A describes how we process personal data. Part B sets out the terms of use of the websites.
Part A. Privacy Policy
2. What data we collect
Through website forms: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, country of residence, preferred language, city in Israel, your relationship to the patient, the type of help you need and a short description of the situation.
When providing services: ID or passport number, date of birth, address, health fund (kupat holim) and insurance details, medical records, reports and test results, and contact details of family members named by the patient.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages you viewed, and cookies (see section 9).
Under Israeli law, medical information is data of special sensitivity. We collect it only to the extent needed to provide the service, and only with the consent of the patient or their legal representative.
Medical information is protected by medical confidentiality. We comply with the Patient's Rights Law, 1996, and share such information only with the patient's consent or where the law expressly allows it.
If you give us the data of another person, for example an elderly relative, you confirm that you do so with their knowledge and consent or on another lawful basis.
You are not legally required to provide data. However, without contact details we cannot reply to your request, and without medical records we cannot arrange treatment or care coordination.
Children. The websites are not intended for persons under 18. A child's data, for example when arranging treatment or childbirth, is provided by the child's parents or legal guardian, who also sign the consent.
3. Why we use data
- To reply to your request and find the right type of help.
- To provide services: arrange diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation and care coordination, and work with health funds, clinics and doctors.
- To keep the patient's family informed, if the patient has agreed to this (section 5).
- To issue invoices and keep records as required by law.
- To keep the websites working and secure, and to improve them.
- To send marketing messages, only if you have agreed to receive them (section 6).
- To protect the Company's rights and comply with the law and with requests from public authorities.
We process data based on your consent, the service agreement, legal requirements and our legitimate interests, such as website security.
4. How we obtain data
From you: through website forms, in conversations, in correspondence and when signing an agreement. From clinics, doctors and health funds while providing services, with the patient's consent. From analytics and advertising systems when you use the websites.
5. Patient consent and keeping the family informed
We work directly with the patient and only with their consent. The patient decides what information about their health and about our work family members receive, how much and in what form. This consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time by telling the coordinator or writing to info@ilmed.co.il.
If the patient cannot make decisions or give consent, we work with their legal representative: a court-appointed guardian or a person holding a notarized power of attorney from the patient (including an enduring power of attorney). We will ask for a copy of the document confirming this authority. Without such a document, we do not share medical information with relatives, even close ones, except where the law allows it.
6. Marketing messages
We send marketing and newsletter messages by email, SMS or messengers only to people who have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time using the link in the message or by writing to info@ilmed.co.il. Opting out does not affect our services.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only to the extent necessary:
- with clinics, doctors, laboratories, health funds and insurance companies, to arrange and pay for treatment, with the patient's consent;
- with suppliers who support our work: website hosting (Lovable, Tilda), email and documents (Google Workspace), messaging (WhatsApp), analytics and advertising (Google Analytics, advertising platforms);
- with public authorities and courts, where required by law.
Suppliers use the data only to provide services to us and are required to protect it.
8. Transfers outside Israel
Some suppliers store data on servers outside Israel, for example in the EU or the USA. We work with suppliers that apply recognized safeguards. If you live abroad, we also exchange information with you through the communication channels you have chosen.
9. Cookies
The websites use cookies. These are small files that help the website work, remember your language and count visits.
- Necessary cookies are required for the website to work.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) show how the website is used.
- Advertising cookies help show our ads to people who have visited the website.
We use analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent, which you can give or withdraw in the banner on the website. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings.
10. How long we keep data
- Requests that did not lead to an agreement: up to 2 years after the last contact.
- Client data and records of services provided: 7 years after the services end, as required by record-keeping rules and to protect the rights of both parties.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
After that, the data is deleted or anonymized.
11. How we protect data
We limit access to data to employees who need it for their work, use secure services and passwords, and train our staff. No system is completely secure. If an incident threatens your data, we will take steps to resolve it and will notify you and the supervisory authority where the law requires.
12. Your rights
You can:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete data, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent to marketing or to sharing data with your family;
- file a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
If you live in the European Union, you can also restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a machine-readable format, and file a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.
Send requests to info@ilmed.co.il. We will reply within 30 days.
